| Flamingo Lake Annexe The demand for
accommodation at Flamingo Lake has been so strong that we
have arranged with some of our neighbours to add their
cottages and rondavels to our portfolio. We keep adding
new units to our list, and it has become difficult to
show them all. |

Our bush cabins are set in a forest of ancient and rare milkwood trees. They are all 6 meters square, some are single-storey, others are double-storey houses, built of logs and very quaint and beautiful. They are all either on the edge of the lake, or not much more than a few metres away. | |||||
| Flamingo Lake started operation in 2003. No two units are the same. Some of our units are cute and cosy, some are spacious. Some have views over the lake, others don't. But all share the same wonderful natural atmosphere and high standards of furnishing and equipment. |

| rondavel
noun S. African: a traditional circular African dwelling with a conical thatched roof; a building based on this design, used as a holiday cottage. Ours are cute and quaint, but bigger than those built by Xhosa people, tiled, not thatched, and m-u-c-h more luxurious! |
